What myths about Smartwatches, and Wearables in general, annoy you the most?

One thing thing is how quick some people can be to brush off the idea of a smartwatch. Some find it crazy that you would spend hundreds of dollars on a smartwatch. But people said the same thing when smartphones, tablet, and phablets came out...

Good point, makes sense. Min post length used to be 20, just lowered that setting.

I agree. It really boggles my mind why someone would spend $300 on a watch that does little, but scoff at the idea that watches can do more. I appreciate you lowering the minimum :3

when they see my Moto 360 and ask... what is that? but the most annoying... out of all of them, when they ask me "OMG is that the new Apple Watch?!?1.!1"

All the people that are convinced that smartwatches will never become a thing. Even though come around this time next year, they will be the ones showing off their new shiny smartwatch to all their friends.

I think the one that annoys me the most is that people say it useless and it's just a add on and it is and it isn't in the Same way

One thing that irks me is when people can critique me for spending money on such a "useless piece of technology" while wearing a $5,000-10,000 Rolex.

Even if they don't own one themselves, it's still viewed as 'doing well for yourself' in society these days. Yet I can be looked upon differently when wearing a $350 (useful!) watch.
