Best Buy customers want the Apple Watch for Christmas this year, but what about other retail shoppers? If you’re a Target customer who prefers to shop there instead of Best Buy, however, you’ll be pleased to know that you can now purchase the Apple Watch at your favorite store of choice.
Apple is seeking to increase its presence in retail stores both online and in-store, just in time for the holiday season. Customers have a preference for shopping around the holidays, and with deals and discounts galore, see the holidays as the most important shopping time they’ll have all year. For many who work long hours, the holidays seem to be the only free time they’re given to purchase gifts, and we have reason to believe that Best Buy customers are not the only ones who want Apple’s first-generation smartwatch.
Target Apple Watch models available
Target has 20 models of both the Apple Watch (middle version) and the Apple Watch Sport (the most inexpensive version) available. Apple also has an Apple Watch Edition model that sells anywhere from $10,000-$18,000, but these watches will likely be available at Apple Stores, locked away in order to protect them from theft and damage. Apple has been working with Best Buy to bring its Apple Watch to 1,050 retail stores.

Other Apple Watch details
One thing you may want to keep in mind before ordering your Apple Watch pertains to battery life: extensive testing confirms that the Apple Watch lasts about 18 hours (max) on a single charge, with about 5 hours of on-screen time (actual usage as opposed to battery life, which consists of both active and inactive time). As for the back of the Apple Watch, customers are reporting scratches and paint chipping – with the words “Apple Watch” eroding, even in a matter of just a few days of use. Apple Watch customers have taken to Apple to complain about these issues, so be sure to hold on to your receipt or visit a local Apple Store if you notice any issues with your Apple Watch.
