Pokemon GO has been one of those games that has taken the mobile world by storm. I never realized how persuasive a game it could be until it made headlines. The game got users to get off their couches and get moving to catch Pokemon -- which provided fun with exercise, a winning combination. Exercise helps you feel better and puts you in a better mood, and the more you play a game that adds to the benefits of exercise, the more benefit results.
Well, the Apple Watch 2 Series announcement brought the additional declaration that Pokemon GO would be coming to the Apple Watch. We weren't given an exact date then, but it seems as though the time has arrived rather quickly because, as of a few days ago, the game finally landed on the Apple Watch, as promised, bearing version number 1.21.2. Here's what to expect from the game when you start playing:
you can log sessions as workouts
receive notifications about egg hatches and awards
gather information about Pokestops nearby
find out when Pokemon are nearby
There are other cool features of the game, but we suggest you head on over to the App Store and update your Pokemon Go game first on your iPhone (then the watch, we presume). And remember, you "gotta catch 'em all."
