HP (yes, Hewlett-Packard) and fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi have teamed up to offer the more lady-like among us an opportunity to join in on the tech revolution. The solution? A luxury-looking smartwatch called the Isaac Mizrahi smartwatch.
The Isaac Mizrahi smartwatch (engineered by HP and bearing the “engineered by HP” trademark) is akin to analog smartwatches, though it bears roman numerals for time marking as opposed to the typical time markers on analog watches. Apart from that, there’s little that stands out about the Isaac Mizrahi smartwatch if you don’t mention the Swarovski crystals.
Swarovski crystals circle the bezel on this circular smartwatch, making the device one that’s just perfect for ladies who want a little “bling” in their lives. As for capabilities, you’re looking at activity tracking (yes, the usual 10,000-step count), notifications at a glance, your daily calendar schedule, and yes, you can even connect with the fashion designer for whom this lady smartwatch is named (yes, Isaac Mizrahi himself) on social media such as Twitter. Whether or not you want to do the latter is up to you, but we have a feeling that Mizrahi wants to keep track of all his lady customers who just happen to love this smartwatch. I guess the saying “one good deed – a beautifully crafted smartwatch – deserves another” (joining Mizrahi’s Twitter friends) applies here.
The Isaac Mizrahi smartwatch works for both iOS and Android, with iPhones running iOS 8 and higher and Android phones running 4.4 KitKat or higher being compatible with this smartwatch. You can expect up to 5 days of battery life, HP says, but this great battery life does come at a cost: you don’t get a touchscreen on the Isaac Mizrahi watch. That’s right: battery life is often stellar when a touchscreen is non-existent or missing in action (MIA). The Isaac Mizrahi smartwatch comes in two colors, gold-tone and silver stainless steel, with five different band colors, and costs $249.99.
For you ladies that are all too interested, head on over to HP’s own website to pick up your Swarovski-crystalled Isaac Mizrahi smartwatch. If you decide to get one for yourself, your daughter, sister, friend, or loved one, feel free to let us know.
