Instructions on how to resize pebble steel band to make the steel band smaller or larger. This will also help resize a band for Moto 360 and LG G Watch or even the Asus Zenwatch. We recommend having this done at a jewelry or watch store. Here is the step by step instruction on how to resize pebble steel bracelet yourself. There is a video on YouTube that we have summarized here for you.
Tools you need
A think pointy object like a small screwdriver, pin pusher, or pointed end of a spring bar tool. A spring bar tool such as the one below is useful since it will also allow you to remove a 22mm strap from a smartwatch.
Step 1
If you need to remove the pebble steel band, see instructions here:
Step 2
Once you have removed the band, on the steel band find the arrows on the backside on the bracelet. These are the links you can remove to shorten, or add more to make it wider.
You need push hard or use a little mallet in order to get the pin out. Once it starts sticking out, use plyers to take them out.
Step 3
Pull the links apart so there is gap, and pull out the link.
It's shaped like a U so you need to swing it the other way to get it out.
Step 4
Add the pin back in the same way it came out. You may need to use some force or mallet to get it flush
Step 5
Repeat steps 2-3 to remove or add links to the right size. You may want to secure the strap back on your watch and try the fit a couple times in order to find the perfect number of links for your size wrist.
