Fossil has already announced the ruggedized Fossil Q Marshal and feminine Q Wander smartwatches in March, but the company is now ready to release these smartwatches to the mass market after 5 months have passed.
The Fossil Q Marshal is a watch made for men who want to face the elements, while the Q Wander is designed for women in the same fashion as the female versions of the Moto 360. Both come in 45mm case sizes, have Always On Displays, are compatible with interchangeable straps so that you can mix and match at your own pleasure, rely on wireless charging, and work well with Google Fit, UA Record by Under Armour, Jawbone UP, and MyFitness Pal health and fitness applications. Fossil says that the Fossil Q Marshal and Fossil Q Wander are compatible with iPhones, thanks to Android Wear for iPhone (which, in recent days, has become Fossil's selling point), and offer thousands of customizable options for dial choices, hand styles, and numbering.
Fossil is starting pre-orders on Friday, August 12th at its own website, with full retail sales commencing on August 29th. Both smartwatches will cost $295, the same price as that of the metal band Fossil Q Founder.
What do you think of the Q Marshal and Q Wander? Glad to see them on Android Wear? Wish they were running some other platform?
