Rumors about the Apple Watch 2 are starting to creep up in the mobile world, but you can’t discount the first-generation Apple Watch yet, right?
On second thought, maybe you should. If you don’t want to discount the Apple Watch, Best Buy has done it for you. No, really.
One of America’s most present retailers, Best Buy, is now discounting the Apple Watch (in a good way, that is) by dropping the price down from $349 for the Apple Watch Sport (the original retail price) to $249 for Apple’s original smartwatch. For the fruit company, the first-generation smartwatch is history-making, and you may be inclined (if you love iOS) to be a part of that.
The Apple Watch has sold something along the lines of 7 million devices, making it the top-selling smartwatch in the mobile market currently.
The price cut is a good gesture, seeing that the $250 price point is somewhat more acceptable for a Bluetooth-only smartwatch (not a 3G model). On the other hand, you may want to hang on and wait until the Apple Watch 2 comes along, seeing that it may have Wi-Fi connectivity that will reduce your dependence on Bluetooth and your smartphone.
You must take advantage of this opportunity within a reasonable timeframe, however, for Best Buy is only holding this Apple Watch sale from yesterday, Wednesday, December 9th, through Christmas Day (December 25th). Don’t you think it’s high time you buy that Apple Watch?
