Pebble is always on the lookout to add functionality to its smartwatches. The company just opened up iPhone text messaging replies right from the wrist, and has partnered with Nuance for voice dictation -- to show its commitment to voice command and its importance in the smartwatch experience. Few smartphone users take advantage of voice command on smartphones, but voice command on smartwatches can be extremely useful when your hands are busy and voice command is simply a whisper away. A new app update today, extends Pebble's in-built smartwatch voice command to even this well-known but not so popular mobile OS.
Doo for BlackBerry 10 is an app designed to help you "do" certain things you need without going through so many pages and tapping on so many apps. To get the functionality of this app, BB10 users need only download the app, set it according to certain button/key combinations, and voila! -- your smartphone is your master key to the mobile experience.
Well, Doo for BlackBerry 10 turns a page today, as the app has announced to have received Pebble smartwatch and Vector smartwatch support for the first time. In addition to bug fixes (which are pretty common and standard with any update), the new Doo BlackBerry 10 update adds Hindi translation, improved background animations, the Z10 layout on the main screen, and more. As for Pebble and Vector smartwatch support for Doo, You'll need to make sure that you have the Bridge app downloaded on your smartphone (and your smartphone connected to your Pebble smartwatch, of course).
Head on over to Doo for BlackBerry 10 and update the app. Then, come back here and let us know you did. Additionally, we'd also like to know how you're liking Pebble voice command integration with Doo for BlackBerry 10 as well as any problems you're having.
