According to CNET, the new Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 will be announced and unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on February 24th, 2014. Also confirmed is that the Gear 2 will be running Tizen OS (proprietary Samsung OS) and not Android!
