The Apple Watch 2 is alive and kicking, but some customers have been longing for the Apple Watch Nike+, the Apple Watch that retains Nike design and software for those who love Nike when it comes to fitness. Well, Apple and Nike haven't forgotten you: the Apple Watch Nike+ smartwatch is scheduled to arrive on the market next Friday, October 28th.
The Apple Watch Nike+ has the same specs and features, with the additional Nike watchfaces and Nike software that many find appealing all on its own. You can choose between 38mm and 42mm straps for $369 and $399, respectfully, and these black and gray straps also retain green accents that really stand out (perhaps not in a good way) when out and about. That won't stop some from getting them, though, but then and again, I'm not a fan of bright neon colors anyway.
The new dual-core processor, 50-meter water resistance, WatchOS 3, 88mAh larger battery, built-in GPS, a 2X brighter display, a new Breathe stress app, app dock, and other features of which buyers have been so fond in the Apple Watch 2 are to be found here. Outside of the tried-and-true Nike design and software, there's little else. Apple didn't tell much about the Nike+ at its announcement, so we're assuming the same features apply here.
Keep your eyes on Apple's website around next Friday; your favorite new smartwatch will appear. Let us know if you plan to pick up the Nike+ smartwatch and tell us why, if you're feeling generous.
