The design is made for women, except women don't want a smartwatch. I'm not sure how well the 1st gen will sell until they make 2nd or 2rd gen and it's finally a round design. Not a fan of the square either, the watch faces won't be nearly as cool as the ones for Moto 360 for example.
Just goes to show when you're corporate giant like Apple you can sway the press so easily.
