As you can see in the picture above it appears as though the Apple Watch charger is Qi-compatible even though Apple has not officially announced the Apple Watch as a supporter of the Qi standard.
There is a possibility that the Apple Watch could be recharged with a Qi charger, however we did try placing the Apple Watch in the Qi wireless charging cradle for the Moto 360 and it did not charge
We plan on trying other wireless Qi chargers such as charging mat on the Apple Watch to see if it works.... stay tuned.
