Apple is still committed to the Apple Watch, as three new ads showcase potential uses for the wrist wearable. "Row" is all about a woman in a group of women who are preparing for a rowing competition; her Apple Watch motivates her to keep going. With "Chase," the runner (Nick Jonas, we presume) is running physically but has a "chase" going on to beat his competition on the Apple Watch. "Golf" is an ad about a golfer who achieves his "goals" (yes, pun intended).
Apple is to be commended for putting out ads about the Apple Watch and continuing to bring up the importance of the wrist wearable in everyday life. Apple Watch sales are not as explosive as Apple's iPhone sales have been in opening weekend events (10 million in 3 days, for example), and sources say that the first-generation Apple Watch sales are not doing as well as they were earlier. Some believe this could be due to the rumors about the Apple Watch 2; with a new unit rumored to arrive, many customers are holding off for the latest and greatest. At the same time, however, the Apple Watch is a watch with smart capabilities, and in the same way customers use their iPhone, they can use their Apple Watch (except for movies and TV shows that demand a wider display).
