The Apple Watch Nike+ smartwatch, announced with the Apple Watch 2 but released for sale at a later date, has now landed in the hands of consumers. Apple wants to drum up support for this creative smartwatch model and is doing so by bringing a few ads to TV that will encourage Nike+ buyers to "go" exercise. Of course, the first ad is devoted to the Watch Nike+ model; the other three are for the Apple Watch 2 Series, so there's something for everyone here.
The ads are titled appropriately -- "Go Run," "Go Dance," "Go Out," and "Go Play," and they all show the Apple Watch being used to run, dance, have a night out on the town, and play soccer with friends. There's nothing special about the smartwatch ads; they merely show what to do with the unique smartwatch.
As has been said time and time again, smartwatch companies are having a hard time making their smartwatches stand out for something other than the most basic things. Still, for those like me and you who use our smartwatches to do these basic things, we find fulfillment in the purposes they already serve.
Still, the Apple Watch Nike+ provides more customized watchfaces for those who want more than the basic pre-installed options, alongside of its unique, crocodile-style pattern for those who cherish Nike design.
